3 Things That Are Really Working On Instagram Right Now

My Instagram insights have been blowing up since the Made For More Strategy & Networking Event. I’m getting new followers and ideal clients EVERY SINGLE DAY. So believe me when I say, Instagram isn’t dead and the algorithm doesn’t hate you. 🚀 NETWORKING

One of the biggest ways to grow on Instagram is to meet people OUTSIDE of Instagram. It sounds counterintuitive but I promise you it’s the quickest way to beat the algorithm and grow an engaged community. Making real life connections and friendships is SO IMPORTANT. So get outside your office, get off your screen and meet people face to face! It really works and the guests of the Made For Event can vouch for that. As one of the exercises, I got them to follow each other and invite others to collaborate with them. Think about it, they’re not just getting 60 new follows from the other attendees. Think about the reach from each individual audience. If you connect with one new person and that person has 1000 followers, that’s 1000 people you can get in front of! Networking is such an incredible way to grow your following and get seen by more people. 

🚀 ENGAGEMENT

Social media is meant to be exactly that, social. If you’re not welcoming people when they follow you, not answering your DM’s, not speaking to your community, your Instagram is going to be so stagnant. Think of your Instagram as a house party. Would you let people walk into your house without saying hello? No! So welcome people into your space, reply to people’s comment and if there’s someone who always engages with you – send them a message to say thank you! DM strategy is going to be a massive one for me next year because it really works. People want to build a connection with you and will only buy from you when they know, like and trust you. By building connections you are shortening the sales cycle period. 

🚀 CONSISTENCY

You have to create consistent content, it’s as simple as that. If you’re posting twice a week, you may as well just step aside now. I know consistency is not always easy, so make it easy for yourself by downloading the FREE 10 days of fierce AF content. If you’re not talking about and celebrating your business, the sales cycle is going to be so much longer.
