Less Is More – Sharing My Biggest Biz Lesson Of 2023
I’ve been reflecting on my year and I wanted to share my biggest lesson of 2023 so you don’t make the same mistake. I could have saved myself a hell of a lot of time if I’d known this sooner:
LESS IS MORE!
My strategy in 2023 was far from less is more. When I reviewed 2023, I looked at the income stream across all of my products. I had a moment when I was like, OMG! I had 9 (!!!) products in 2023. That is BONKERS. There is only 1 of me and I had 9 products. I was most definitely working harder, not smarter. Looking back, I wish that I would spent time dialling my core products in in instead of launching product, after product, after product.
I think sometimes the issue is we don’t have the confidence that we can get 2 or 3 products working really well. But the truth is, if I had stripped back and used this time to focus on the core offers in my product suite, I know I would have made double the income.
So, have a look at your product suite, what you’ve launched and what’s made you the most money. In the same breath, it’s not just about money. You have to think about the trade off between time, energy and money. What are the cash cow products that can make you a hell of a lot of money, feel aligned and exciting and get clients incredible results? If you have a product that does this, do you really need to add additional products to your portfolio?
I wanted to share insight into how I’m strategising my business next year, the strategic conversations I’m having with myself and my team and what you can expect from me in 2024.
