Overwhelmed entrepreneurs cap their income. You might be making money, but you’re making significantly LESS money than you could be making if you had a clear strategy and direction.
Here’s why you could be feeling overwhelmed:
When you follow so many different online service providers on social media, subconsciously you’re absorbing all of the different strategies that they’re using and you start to think – should I be doing that?
As a result of this, you start creating a ‘throw spaghetti at the wall’ strategy situation. The reality with this strategy is – you’re NEVER going to be making as much money as you could be making.
1. YOUR AUDIENCE is confused and isn’t following your journey. It feels sporadic and messy. You’re launching so many different things and it feels overwhelming to them.
2. YOU are not clear on your strategy and direction. This means you’re not taking action and moving the needle forward in your business. This is a HUGE mistake for biz owners.
Remember, when focus on ALL of the things, you do NOTHING well.

What is one goal you are working towards right now? Use the timeframe of 90 days.
A lot of people set multiple goals at once and quit 3 weeks in because the strategy isn’t working. You have to get laser focused on one goal at a time, especially if you’re prone to overwhelm. Once you get better at this, you can then add in more goals. But right now, SIMPLIFYING is your strategy. Choose ONE financial milestone that you want to hit in 90 days.
Now, it’s time to reverse engineer. Understand what action you need to take weekly and daily to move the needle forward in your business. Put your blinkers on here. Get laser focused on achieving this ONE GOAL. When you start looking sideways at what you’re competitors are doing, that’s when you lose momentum.
Remember, the best businesses out there aren’t complex. So, keep things SIMPLE. Your energy as a business owner if your currency. If you’re burnt out, nobody is going to want to hire you.
You don’t need to start with all the things. Master ONE thing, ONE product, ONE marketing channel at a time. Once you feel like you’ve mastered this ONE thing and got it to a good place, then you can start adding new things. If you’re constantly creating ‘new’ all the time, you’re never allowing enough time for things to be refined and perfected, and you’re never feeling the gains of all of the work you’re doing. Switch on your CEO mindset and ask yourself these questions – where are the bottlenecks in your business? Where is energy being spent and not getting an ROI?
Bottom line is, business doesn’t have to be difficult or confusing. We have this idea that in order to make 6/7 figures that things need to be complicated. The truth is, the most successful business are so SIMPLE.
