A lot of my clients and business owners focus on the wrong things (the algorithm, reach, engagement) and they start to get blindsided. They get so caught up on the numbers, like losing followers, not getting as many likes, lower story views. When you start taking yourself down that rabbit hole, it’s never a good thing. When you start having conversations like this with yourself, you begin to create a scarcity mindset of ‘there’s not enough’. But the truth is, there’s an ABUNDANCE of clients out there for you. And, you can blow up your Instagram whenever you want to.
+2 : ARE YOU WAITING FOR RESULTS?
Are you posting once on your stories and then waiting for the clients to roll in? If you are waiting for it to happen, you are missing the point. Your job as an entrepreneur is to create momentum. You go first, and then the clients will follow and the sales will build. Ask yourself, are you stalling and self-sabotaging, or can you give more energy?
+3 : ARE YOU LOOKING SIDEWAYS?
Are you focusing on what other people in the industry are doing? Are you constantly looking at what others are launching, who they are targeting, who they are working with and what their prices are? If you’re focusing your energy on what other people are doing, you’re taking away from the energy you could be directing towards your own business. Keep your blinkers on.
+4 : ARE YOU WATERING DOWN YOUR MESSAGE?
This is one of the biggest killers in your business. Your client’s don’t want you to be agreeable. In order to be a leader you have to have an opinion. If you’re holding yourself back, of course your sales are going to slow down because thats not attractive to a potential buyer. Train yourself to find that polarising opinion within yourself. And translate that into your content. What is it that you REALLY care about? What is the reason you set up your business? Why is the product you created DIFFERENT? Why should people work with YOU? We all have competitors in business, but it’s about knowing why someone should work with YOU over someone else. What sets you apart? Get crystal clear on this, and get CONFIDENT about it.
+5 : ARE YOU WAITING TO FEEL ‘READY’?
Is the universe giving you opportunities and you’re ignoring or declining them? If this is you, remember… the universe likes people who are grateful and who take action. If you’re passing up amazing opportunities because you don’t feel ready, you are subconsciously rejecting success. As a successful entrepreneur, you have to be relentless. If you’re not determined to make your passion and desire a success, you’ll be better suited for the corporate world. As an entrepreneur, you have to know how to pick yourself up when you get knocked down.
